Undergraduate Research in Online, Virtual, and Hybrid Courses: Proactive Practices for Distant Students is a how-to guide for anyone who wants to extend research opportunities beyond their traditional campus efforts. While these efforts were present before the pandemic, they grew out of recent need and will continue to persist because of student demand. Creating research opportunities for remote students is an essential effort to ensure educational equity. It is also a way to expand faculty work-life flexibility while still maintaining scholarship. This workshop will offer guidance to faculty engaged in mentoring students and classes at a distance. The cost is $125 per individual.
