CUR’s National Office Team is composed of talented professionals who are passionate about the work they do and their commitment to providing the highest standard of service for CUR’s members and community. After all, our community is our family here at CUR. We have taken a moment to interview each of our National Office Staff for you all to get to know them a little better.
Office Staff Spotlight: Tori Meador
1. Q: What is your full name, the name you wish to go by, and your organizational title at CUR?
A: My full name is Victoria Meador, but I just go by Tori. My organizational title at CUR is the learning and community coordinator.
2. Q: What is one thing that most people wouldn’t know about you?
One thing that most people wouldn’t know about me is that I was a dual sport athlete in college.
3. Q: Where did you get your education?
A: I went to high school at Walkersville High School during my senior year; I was dually enrolled at Frederick Community College. Once I graduated from high school I received my bachelor’s degree from Hood College, a small private college in Frederick Maryland.
4. Q: CUR works in a fast-paced environment. Lots of our staff need caffeine to keep up! But, we have an ongoing debate on which is better. So, do you prefer tea or coffee and why? (Or neither and list your preferred method of boosting your energy.)
A: Personally, I love all things caffeine. My go-to is always a dirty chai, so it’s both tea and coffee, but I’m also obsessed with Alani Nu energy drinks.
5. Q: What is your favorite quote, book, or movie/show that has impacted you or you continuously refer to when making big decisions?
I have two favorite quotes I always refer to when making big decisions, “The world is your oyster” and “Faith over Fear”.
